Issued to mark Singapore's 25th anniversary of independence (1959–1984), this Limited Edition Medallic First Day Cover is a distinguished dual-format collectible combining philately and numismatics in a single presentation piece.
The cover features a 24K gold on bronze commemorative medal embedded within the envelope, struck to honour 25 Years of Nation Building. The medal's obverse depicts a crowd scene symbolising Singapore's people and national progress, inscribed with the milestone dates 1959–1984. Accompanying the medal is a set of six cancelled Singapore postage stamps — a colourful array spanning various denominations and themes from Singapore's nation-building era — franked with a first day cancellation postmark.
The entire piece is housed in its original red vinyl presentation wallet, gold-embossed with the title "The Singapore 25th Anniversary Medallic First Day Cover", preserving the item in near-original condition.
